The Passing of Fr. Thomas A. Kane Executive Director Of Landings International
It is with the saddest of hearts that Landings UK announces the passing of Fr. Thomas A. Kane C.S.P. on 1st March 2025.
Fr. Thomas Kane was better known as Thomaso to all who knew him and loved. He was the Executive Director of Paulist Reconciliation Ministries and of Landings International. His passion and commitment to support the work of the Landings groups in the USA, the UK and in Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand was unquestioning. The enduring love that the Landings family had for him is everlasting.
Fr. Thomas had a lifelong love of the Arts and dubbed himself a Culture Vulture. He loved traveling and used every opportunity to go to the theatre. Whether he had an ailment or not, it just did not stop him from fulfilling his enduring passion for live performance. And, his generosity was always extended to someone to accompany him to the theatre.
He was an avid uploader of his many cultural exploits on Facebook.
Poignantly, on 17th February 2025 he posted this smiling picture with these words “Culture Vulture enters palm spring rehab to build strength…. Visitors welcome.”

Fr. Thomas was such a gift to the Church and will be forever grateful by the entire Landings family for all that he did for us and for all that he meant to us.
Fr. Dominic Robinson SJ, Director of Landings UK said “May Fr Thomas, such a great servant of the Church who helped so many people to land safely back in the Church, rest in peace.”
Amen to that.

Emeritus Pope Benedict XVI. 1927-2022

With much sadness come to terms of the death of Emeritus Pope Benedict who passed away today. We also express our love and joy for the wonderful service he gave to the Catholic Church and the faith he so loved.
We are blessed to have the legacy of his many books, sixty odd in number, as well as his three encyclicals Deus Caritas Est, Spe Salvi and Caritas in Veritate (God Is Charity, Hope of Salvation and Charity in Truth).
We pray for the repose of Benedict's soul that he may rest in peace and rise in eternal glory. Amen.
